Effective July 31, 2026
Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and How To Everything LLC for use of while(oops). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
The service
while(oops) provides HTTP endpoint monitoring, hosted status pages, embeddable status surfaces, incident publishing, and related account tools. Monitoring is informational and may be delayed, interrupted, or produce an incorrect result. You remain responsible for operating, securing, and supporting your own products.
Your account and content
You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your Google account, and promptly report suspected misuse. You retain ownership of product and incident content you submit. You grant us permission to host, process, check, and publicly display that content as needed to provide the service.
Acceptable use
You may monitor only endpoints you are authorized to test. You may not use while(oops) to probe private networks, disrupt a system, distribute malware, evade access controls, impersonate another person, violate law, or publish unlawful or infringing content. We may restrict abusive traffic or suspend accounts that threaten the service or others.
Plans and payment
while(oops) is a paid subscription service. Eligible new subscriptions receive one 14-day trial per account and require a payment card. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the selected monthly or annual plan begins automatically and Stripe charges the payment method in your billing account. You can cancel or change a subscription through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless Stripe states otherwise.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we explicitly agree otherwise. We may change future pricing with reasonable notice. Taxes may apply.
Availability and changes
We work to keep while(oops) dependable, but the service is provided without a guaranteed uptime or response-time service level unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Features may change as we improve the product. We will avoid materially reducing a paid plan during its current billing period without notice.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and without implied warranties. How To Everything LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost profit damages arising from the service. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for while(oops) during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using while(oops) at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, unlawful use, or nonpayment. Sections that by their nature should survive will remain effective after termination.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will revise the effective date above. Continued use after a material update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be submitted through the while(oops) help center.
