Ownership
You keep ownership of the text, images, and other material you submit. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights needed to submit it.
Public License
By submitting material to while(oops), you agree that accepted submissions may be published and reused under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. That license allows sharing and adaptation, including commercial use, with attribution. Unless you request a different credit, attribution may use the GitHub username attached to your submission. Public references should also credit and link the original source separately.
Review and Editing
Submissions may be rejected, edited, summarized, reformatted, or removed. Edits are intended to improve clarity, remove sensitive details, and keep the site useful.
No Sensitive Data
Do not submit secrets, credentials, API keys, customer data, private URLs, confidential company information, private personal information, or screenshots that expose sensitive details. Redact first.
No Legal Advice
This page is a practical submission notice, not legal advice. If your submission touches employer, client, customer, regulated, or confidential information, get proper approval before posting it.
